Phone Numbers App

Phone Numbers App allows you to manage the phone numbers on your account as well as to set the name displayed on your outbound Caller ID. Please note that access to modify the account's Outbound Caller ID Name is limited to some Administrator roles.

How can I view the numbers in my account?

  • Log in as the admin to your TeleGo customer portal account
  • Select the Phone Numbers App
  • Review the numbers that are on your account including their Type and Status 
  • To edit a phone number when you click on the underlined number 

  • How can I change my Caller ID Name?

    Enter your Company Caller ID Name exactly the way you want it to appear on your outgoing calls. You can enter up to 15 characters (including spaces).  

    There are a few ways to update the caller ID name, as follows: 

    • Inline Edit
      • Click the edit icon ✎ in the Caller ID column for the number you wish to edit
      • Type in the Caller ID Name you wish to display as a text along with your caller ID number 
      • Click the SAVE button   
    • Single Edit
      • Click the underlined number you wish to edit
      • Type in the Caller ID Name you wish to display as a text along with your Caller ID number in the Caller ID field
      • Click the SAVE button   
    • Bulk Edit
      • Select the numbers' checkboxes you wish to edit
      • Click EDIT SELECTED button on the top left
      • Type in the Caller ID Name you wish to display as a text along with your caller ID numbers in the Caller ID field
      • Click the SUBMIT button   

    How long does it take for my Caller ID to be updated?

    Caller ID should be active within 7 to 14 business days and in some case will be updated immediately. If the accurate Caller ID isn't showing 14 days after the request was submitted, contact support@telego.net for assistance.
